Mat and Frame
Through the years I have found that the great majority of my customers prefer my paintings mounted in a way that harmonizes with a wide range of decors and colors. For that reason I have standardized on off-white mats and simple shiny gold frames as shown in these photos. Where frames are indicated in painting captions, price includes mat and frame.

This framing enhances the appearance of the painting while buffering it from the particular details of the surrounding decor. At the same time it limits the buyer's investment in framing costs. In a few instances, after a buyer has hung one of my paintings, he or she has decided to customize the mat and frame to a unique decor. In that case, duplication of framing cost has been minimal.
